Juuust great
Well, my frickin' car died today on the way home from work. I'm chillin' at a stoplight at 121 and I-35, listening to how Charles II really fucked up with Parliament[*], when I look down and my coolant warning light is on. Not flashing, like it did last year when the radiator cracked, it's *on*. And I look up, and there's smoke issuing from under my hood. And I look back down and the engine temp dial is all the way over to teh right as far as it can go in the red. Arg.
I manage to make it through the stoplight, which turned green right then, onto the 35 feeder road and pulled off to the side, threw all my stuff out of the car incase the car was about to burn up, then popped the hood to take a look. Lots of smoke, which luckily rapidly dissipated, coming from the coolant container area. Called the Saturn help line, and they managed to get a tow truck to me in less than an hour at 5 PM on a Friday in Dallas rush hour traffic. I am very impressed.
So my car's in the shop, going to be looked at tomorrow, and it could be somethign simple like a hose gone horribly, horribly wrong, that they could fix easily and get my car back to me, or it could be something huge and awful that's going to require lots of money and me renting a car for a few days. Arg.
Me am not happy-like.

Unfortunately, I've had a similar experience before, and it was none too good. ._. The result was two out of four cylinders in the engine blew, and the block cracked. :/ I'm crossing my fingers for you, hoping it's not at all bad (at least, not like that!)
