It's not that busy a community, less than a hundred posts altogether, I'd say, and I went through the month view where you can see all the post titles for tha tmonth and checkjed the ones that might possibly refer to Genji. Took about 15 minutes, all told.

Actually, I read an abridged translation of TOG some years ago for one of my Japanese Culture classes, so this is all amusing me terribly. :D

If the whole fanfic/BNF/Livejournal metaphor hadn't occurred to me, I'm not sure how long I'd stick with the story. But now I want to finish this, tehn read Murasaki's diary and Sei Shonagan's Pillow Book where, apaprently, they spend time bashing each other, and write it up as if it were a wank report on otf_wank or something. XD
