Do you plan on getting a room then? My usual group that comes down for this con aren't coming and the only girl who was, just backed out cause she had to use her money elsewhere. So that kinda put me in a rut on what I should do to save money room wise. I don't want to keep driving back and forth to my house cause thats 30 miles one way. I do have a friend who might be coming up from Houston for the con and another girl who I'm not even sure if she's coming to Afest so thats why I'm trying what I can do for this situation since thats still not quite enough for me to cut back on spending towards the room.
And this is ONE CON I WILL NOT miss out on. (they have such a great guest lineup!!)I want this con to help make my experience for Akon this yr to go away. (My opinion, Akon this yr sucked so bad).
That might work out - I wasn't going to get a room, because my friends who are working there are either taking the train in every day or are staying in a crash room, and I have to have bed space because of a bad back, so the chance of getting the floor in a crash room isn't worth it (hotel mattresses are bad enough), and my finances aren't such that I could afford a room to myself, but with a roomate/s and guaranteed bed space ... I think it could be a go.
