It's Jonquil the traveling freelance lepidopterist again ... this time in color.

I swear that thing was supposed to be a *simple* color. I was going to work on faking marker work in Painter again when out of nowhere it became this overly involved digital painting. Arg.

I need to come over and play with your Wacom. After a bit of debate with myself, I've decided to not get the 6x9 platinum. I can get the smaller one and painter for the same price as the 6x9.

OK, cool. I'm home today after I go clean fossils at the museum (so after 2-3 PM or so) and all weekend, if you want to come over and play with it soon.

I'm going to Houston tomorrow, then home to do the grandparents thing for a few days. I'm not *exactly* sure what day I'll be back next week, but I'm assuming Thursday or Friday. I'm going to the grandparents' on Tuesday and we usually just spend overnight there, but it depends on when I want to drive back to DFW.

So if you get this in time and want to come over this afternoon or tonight, that'd work, otherwise it'll be the next weekend.

Blah, too swamped (spent most of today with my department head), and end of next week isn't looking much better. I'm in training from tues-thurs. Friday is set up my room day. hmmmm... I think we'll have to hold off for later in August. I can't get the stuff until September anyway, so no need to rush.
