We booked Orkney Uncovered to take us around to various prehistoric sites. These included Skara Bear, Maes Howe, and Brogdar’s Ring. Kinlay was a fantastic and amusing host, full of local and historic knowledge.

Ooooh. How was Orkney Uncovered? I ask out of general curiosity but also specific curiosity, in that we're taking a trip next year that will include Orkney and will soon be looking at more specifics within that...

They were fabulous! Highly recommended. It's one couple who run it—she does the booking and office work and he does the guiding. I’d recommend booking them early, as we had good luck that they had one space open on a day we could get there between ferries. Tell them Stephanie and Toby recommended them, just so they know how you ran across them.
