Meet Jonquil, the freelance lepidopterist. When she was a young girl in the schoolroom, the carefree life of a traveler following the Yellow-tailed Kalahari Frittillary and other such species across the continents sounded wonderfully romantic, but now that she has left home to pursue her childhood dream, she is slowly coming to terms with the fact that she just isn't very good at it.

Heehee. :) I did set up the rabbit guy as a print available trhough DA, although I don't get as much money from that as I do if you get it at a con or from me directly. Although I Have no printer cartridge right now, and that's waiting on my recent LRG check, which I am assured was mailed yesterday, to get here so I can start making prints for AnimeFest.

Anyway, the freelance lepidopterist will eventually be either toned or colored, and be a print. :D

And now that I've gone through the cmments on the pic, everyone seems to be assuming a lepidopterist is some sort of magician, because they keep referring to teh butterfly net as her staff. Hm.
