A package containing a cat bed was supposed to have showed up yesterday. However, our local mail carriers have a habit of marking things as delivered and then the things showing up a day or two later. I assume they're overworked and are attempting to meet quotas or some such.
This particular package...well, I ordered the cat bed from an independent seller on Amazon (who turned out to be from Ukraine, or at least claimed to be from Ukraine). It was marked as shipped, I got the shipping number, the UPSPS thinks the package was in its clutches...and a few days later the payment was refunded, the bank saying there was an error and I should contact the seller. I sent a message to them via Amazon, because I would like them to get their money (especially because if they are from Ukraine, they probably need it more than I do...but the bed was drop-shipped from California so who knows?), and got back an auto-reply from Amazon saying that the seller's shop had been shut down.
So now I'm in the weird position of having a missing package that I didn't actually pay for. It hasn't been stolen from our porch because the video doorbell shows that it was never actually delivered. We shall see what happens in the next day or two.

The current pink monstrosity is on our bed, next to my head, because he is a mama's boy and if that isn't available, he's sleeping on top of me (which he does with regularity anyway), but as part of the process of Finally Getting The Bedroom To Look Nice after ten damn years* I would like the colors to go nicely with the bed, since booting the cat off is not an option. XD
*Which, if bedroom surroundings don't bother someone, more power to them! I just need to be able to look around and feel that Things Look Nice And Are Arranged Nicely or I have a constant low level of stress.

I relate to this!
For me it's about visual "noise" that takes attention / brain processing away.
