A few days ago I got an auto-email from Pinterest to my Augusta Scarlett account, saying that it had removed one of my pins for being adult content. Which is...odd, as I have nothing like that pinned. It's all book covers or art inspiration, and none of it is erotic. I don't think there's any artistic nudity either, as the art inspiration is intended for book covers. Did it tell me which pin? Did it tell me which board? Did it even tell me if it's a pin I originated or one I repinned? Nope. Just left an injunction that I should review my pins.
Yesterday I got a notification that they'd reviewed the pin and reinstated it. And then added a stern injunction that I should still continue to go through my boards and remove any pins that don't conform to their community guidelines.
Still no idea what pin prompted that.
edit: I lie. They told me which board, but...it's a private board that's got a number of sub-boards attached to it (for character, worldbuilding, etc.), and has bajillions of pins so it's still no good at telling me which pin for flagged (or reported by someone).

And all of them in the main board--which might be what they're flagging?--are runway fashion, in Severe Futuristic Black (the actual board/set of boards in question are for inspiration for a project that didn't get very far off the ground). The original email lists erotic fetish photos as something that's against the community guidelines and maybe there's an algorithm that flags some high fashion stuff as that?
You know what, fuck it, the board's public now: https://www.pinterest.com/AugustaScarlettBookCovers/de-profundis/
Everything in the base board, that isn't in sections, is runway fashion!

I really resent the bloody "Make sure you go over your pins!" warning in the reinstatement email because it's assuming that I'm deliberately skirting the edge of the guidelines and I'm not.
