Luckily this year I have Airpods with noise cancellation! Which do a fine job of filtering out everything but the drumming, sigh. At least the drumming is muted, and I can drown it out with music, although I don't like to have these things in my ears for hours at a time.
Working on and living near universities for most of my life, marching bands are an occasional nuisance, but they usually only practice for an hour or so during the day.
I would trade you - my house is DEAD SILENT, which is why I have music going all the time. I would adore listening to drummers (I think), and you could have my DEAD SILENCE.
It’s not completed pieces—they practice segments OVER AND OVER. Also it’s not terribly loud, it’s that level just at the edge of hearing that YOU CAN’T NOT HEAR.
I'm a composer! I play segments over and over when I'm composing, to make sure the feel of them is right. (I'm lucky that Ara and Joe are not musically sensitive or that would drive them nuts.) I am actually quite accustomed to the sound of that kind of start-stop/repetitive practice. :) I could endure this better and you could have my EERILY SILENT HOUSE. ;) You know, if teleportation were a thing.

But you have my sympathies!
