It seems obvious that the first year is the first, but also that celebrating the tenth anniversary after eleven years of marriage also sounds rather odd

In other words

myrialux and I been married ten years now which makes this either our ninth or tenth anniversary, depending on how you count that. Given that the "modern" gift suggestion for 10 is diamonds, I am not opposed to celebrating my tenth anniversary twice.

edit: yes I'm aware the math makes it work out as the 10th anniversary, this was the result of a half-asleep argument this morning and I can't be bothered to take the poll down. :D

I totally understand. I made the list because the first time through I confused myself. I'm blaming the pressure change migraine.

I think when I try to logic my way through it, I get 9 but when I use math I get 10. Couldn't tell you why, other than I'm not great at logic. XD
