Storm check-in

No power out and no frozen pipes so far! And a nice covering of fluffy snow over what is bound to be treacherous black ice so there's no way we're leaving the house. XD

About the same here. Good day to be working from home. If I was still going into the office, the boss would've gotten an email saying "Calling in two wheel drive."

I told my boss yesterday that if we didn’t close today I’d be working from home because our driveway is very steep and faces west, and I anticipated it being covered with ice most of the day. Luckily they did close !

Good for them. I was going to reschedule an oncologist appt, but the whole center closed for the storm, so saved me the trouble.
