Ready

Ice storm is upon us, and we have lots of leftovers as well as no-cook recipe ingredients in case the power goes out. We have 2 2.5-gallon water containers for regular use plus a tub of water for flushing purposes if needed. The faucets are dripping, a generator was purchased and tested last month, and the gas is working in the fireplace. We are all good.

Of course it’ll be maybe a 48-hour thing as temps will be heading above freezing on Friday. Last year it was a 9-day run of below-freezing temps that caused the weather that sparked off everything else. This year it’s a plain old ice storm, which may cause power outages from trees and power lines being downed.

About to head to bed now. See ya on the flip side!

I've been thinking about getting generator just in case. How hard is it to use?
