Couple of things
(1) For those who read it, Lois McMaster Bujold's next Penric & Desdemona novella is out.
(2) We bought a suction-cup-supported shelf for D.Va to sit on that attaches to a window. We cannot tell you if the suction cups support her weight because our couch is pushed against the window and the shelf rests on it. :) With the curtains wrapped around it so the world does not look in at our TV and also so there is no glare on the TV.
D.Va loves it and spends a lot of time there. She does not really understand that people outside can be the same as people inside, perhaps, as she freaks out if we're outside and go up to the window. The other day,![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
myrialux went outside to check the mail and went up to the window to wave at D.Va. She hissed and ran off. We have never seen her hiss before! I can only theorize that D.Va seeing someone she recognizes but not smelling them drops them right into the Uncanny Valley for cats.

My living room chair back sits at the same height as the big window, so there's perfect sitting spot under the curtains. All my cats like to watch the front yard from there, but Nico (the spoiled youngest) spends a lot of time there. I haven't seen her react badly to us through the window, but she hisses at the Amazon delivery guy.
