Because
yhlee has such evocative prose, I asked for "A threshhold winnower cutting through Kel soldiers in yoon ha lee trilogy machineries of empire | artstation | unreal engine". And it delivered:

But then, out of en excess of hubris perhaps, I asked for "Shuos Jedao seductively removing a glove in yoon ha lee trilogy machineries of empire | artstation | unreal engine". It, um...delivered something, to be sure.

And then I fell back on classics. "Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away. Trending on Artstation"

myrialux commented this on another image, so I used it as a prompt. "HR Geiger drawing someone in Dragon Age video game who drinks too much lyrium | artstation | unreal engine"

Each image has a seed number to it, and if you change the prompt without changing the seed you get something similar to the original image. Thus, "Caravaggio painting someone in Dragon Age video game who drinks too much lyrium | artstation | unreal engine":

Changing the seed number to "420" (because I am a 12-year-old at heart) gives me something more like this:

If you don't change the starting image it defaults to this thing that looks like CGI crocodile hide, which means you tend to end up with a lot of square elements in your image. But you can tell it to start with another image. I started this with the hat/flintlock dude I posted a few days ago, using the Caravaggio/420 prompt above. Now it looks like it's pulling a lot from Caravaggio's Bacchus and has achieved chiaruscuro.

I changed the seed back to default (0), and used a very white-toned snowy picture as the base, then asked for "Caravaggio painting Link holding the Buster Sword | artstation | unreal engine".
myrialux says it looks more like Luigi, but I told him to blame Caravaggio, whose arm, hand, and paintbrush we can see creating the picture.

myrialux asked what happens if I tell it to start from a pure black or white image, so I used a pure black image and asked for "Link holding the Buster Sword | artstation |unreal engine".
myrialux's opinion is that it looks like a PS1 screenshot.

ANYWAY. I went back to defaults on the starting images and seed number, and also fell back to the subject that tends to produce the nicest images, for whatever reason,
yhlee. "Yoon Ha Lee wrote a Warhammer 40K novel | artstation | unreal engine"

And for a change of pace, "Yoon Ha Lee wrote a Zoe Chant shifter romance novel | artstation | unreal engine"

movingfinger commented on my last post: "Very interesting results, and I wonder what happens if you ask for Dave McKean? Do you get suggestive collages of suggestive collages?"
LET'S FIND OUT! Alas, I didn't change the seeds so they all look similar.
Prompts:
"Dave McKean collage | artstation"

"Collage by Dave McKean for Sandman comic | artstation"

"Collage by Dave McKean for Yoon Ha Lee novel | artstation"

"Collage by Dave McKean for Warhammer 40K game | artstation"

That's it for now!
