edit: OK you know what the worst part is? Just as soon as they're getting into the rhythm and you're bopping along to it THEY STOP. Then they START OVER.

Aww man, sympathies. This is why I'm sometimes grateful I'm in a household with musical insensitives - composing music probably sounds like that if you're not the composer...

There is now at least one piece of music being played. Instead of being scattered in small groups, they're gathered together in front of the music hall and playing the same piece. It's THAT MUCH LOUDER of course...

There was a group of about 30 people - men, women, children - in the park today. All clad in white, with drums and rattles and occasional voice accompaniment.

Must be something in the air.
