Young Aloysius stared in horror at the incontrovertible evidence that he was not, as he had thought, fully cured, only enjoying a temporary remission. It was becoming abundantly clear that medical science did not hold the answers he so desperately needed to the baffling question of why he was periodically breaking out in rabbits.
