HOW HUNGRY ARE YOU?!

Random sandwich generator LIVE!

http://magatsu.net/generators/sandwiches/

Inspired by Tyler Kord's A Super Upsetting Cookbook About Sandwiches, in which he lists several elements of taste and texture that he thinks all sandwiches should have. My list is a bit different than his, but I think it still produces some decent sandwiches. And some not-so-decent ones, but the proportion of ones I'd try is surprisingly high. (Except for the ones that end up with Nutella or marshmallow fluff. I've yet to see one of those that work for me.)

The sandwich maker started with white bread and layered leftover turkey, French dressing, vinaigrette, romaine lettuce and za'atar upon it.

You receive an open-faced sandwich with béchamel, lime juice, cucumber sticks and flake salt piled on top of focaccia.

This sounds delicious: tahini, champagne vinegar, grilled asparagus and garlic salt on a bagel.

Mornay sauce, banana peppers, seeds and Parmesan on sourdough? Sounds great!

You're served a sandwich with rotisserie chicken, Brie, champagne vinegar, mango salsa and sardines on white toast.

The sandwich artisan has given you a Portuguese roll topped with thin slices of ham, pepperjack cheese, glazed carrots and green bell pepper.

The chef's specialty is glazed ham, raita, champagne vinegar and bibb lettuce on a bolillo roll.

You receive an open-faced sandwich with fried oysters, French dressing and french dressing piled on top of sprouted bread.

Why not try roasted squash, tzatziki, romaine lettuce and a dash of soy sauce on round bread?

This sounds delicious: raw mushrooms, Havarti cheese, ponzu, orange marmalade and sea salt on a toasted English muffin.

I've received one before that basically reinvented pizza, which leads to the eternal question: is pizza an open-faced sandwich? What about when you fold it? I'm not even going to bring up tacos or PopTarts...
