At least there's an answer
Finally got the word that our giant foncy vacation in June was cancelled--i.e. the big cruise was. They offered either the full amount plus $600 in cruise credit, or a 100% refund. And we don't have to make our decision until December. We're probably going to ask for the refund and put it towards a non-cruise vacation and spend 3 weeks in Scotland, like we'd originally been thinking when the cruise popped up.
Anyway, I'm glad it's done because the not knowing what June was going to be like was frustrating. I'm still not going to schedule any covers during June to (a) allow for the ones I have in May to push a little over if necessary and (b) to allow myself time to work on The Sequel to/Continuation Of The Thing Wot I Wrote. Which I've really wanted to do but keep agreeing to do covers.
Now to go through all our stupidly complicated flight plans and cancel them, and cancel the other stuff that's been booked so far.

(Elder Scrolls Online is having a play free for 5 days things right now so I downloaded and installed it and am making Murderface McKenzie's grandson.)

I suspect the con may be waiting on the city gov't to put out restrictions so they don't get hit by their contract's cancellation fee. Argh.
