In other news, yesterday we went out to a popular breakfast/lunch spot that is very loud, loud enough that I couldn't hear the person at the counter taking my order very well. So I have no idea if she told me "We don't have the lemon chicken BLT, would a regular BLT be okay?" or not. What eventually emerged from the kitchen was a regular BLT.

Now, what I'd originally wanted was a regular BLT, and I picked the lemon chicken one because I couldn't find a regular BLT on the menu, figuring I could pick off the lemon chicken if I didn't like it. So why was I so damn annoyed that I didn't get the thing I didn't originally want?

Curious are the paths of our thoughts.

Because it was so loud you couldn't think, that's why.
