Well, I think I've got my dragon design more-or-less down.





I don't want to tighten the sketch up more because it'll restrict me from being able to paint it--I'm planning on using the sketch as a guide, not a blueprint, which should help add fluidity and motion. Theoretically.

This is beautiful--I love the solidity of the anatomy (so many dragon illustrations have shitty nonsense anatomy) and the dynamism of the pose, especially the foreshortening on the claw reaching out at the viewer.
