AND ANOTHER GENERATOR

Because I needed the proof of concept that the new code for the fantasy generator would work seamlessly for other generators.

Space Opera Title Generator

Yes, the background and the writeup on the side are from the fantasy generator, because I'm still working on the patterns and wordlists. Interestingly, space opera books tend to have less complicated titles than fantasy novels do. Star Smashers of the Galaxy Rangers by Harry Harrison (I think) is the longest pattern I found. I also have smaller wordlists than the fantasy ones, because the space opera lists I got from Goodreads and the Internet Speculative Fiction Database together only produced about 1500 titles instead of the 5000 I got for fantasy. I ended up going out to Wikipedia's lists of stars, moons, and constellations to fill out a Name list.

I am 20,000 words into an untitled space opera and may be getting some use out of this.

Love it! These are even better than the fantasy titles. Super pulpy! There is a nostalgic quality to them---all those cadets and privateers, perhaps? (PS: Interplanet*a*ry)(and you should also include planetary, rings, sphere, moon, lens, and perhaps hegemony, spiral arm, rocket, quantum...? Could be they're in there and just haven't popped yet, for some reason it took a lot of tries before galaxy showed.)

60 The Zenith of the Inner World

40 The Warriors of Jupiter

27 SunWeapons

71 The Chronicle of the Integral Jump

51 Quasar Zero

42 Beyond the Sky

45 Asteroid of Doomsday

22 DeathSpaceship

59 The Homeworld is a Fatal Throne

42 Beyond the Hegemony

21 Death Wings

54 Foreigner Base

37 The Nomads of the Ruins

81 The Shadow of Eridanus

31 Space Privateers

48 Heretic from the Interplanetery Comet

71 The Myth of the Double Risk

These plausible ten, all from the same pull!

45 Nation of Battle Cruiser

60 The Strangler of the Star

42 Beyond the Gateway

08 Invader

75 The Flights' Night

57 The Line Scavenger

51 Realm Zero

76 Beyond the Red Giants

46 Squad of the Risen Empire

46 Daughter of the Distant Asteroid Belt

I quote possibly want to read all these hypothetical novels.

Very much doubt anyone will ever publish titles with Uranus in them, but please please please don't remove it from the word bank.

I would say Uranus is wearing their trousers.

but that is because I am fundamentally a 12-yr-old only impersonating a responsible adult. And not very well, either.
