My video card just went out! Yay! *sobs* OK, it's a hassle rather than a disaster: I don't have any artwork due, but we're leaving Thursday on vacation and won't be back until December*, whereupon I need to swing back into covers-and-commissions mode ASAP. So the computer gets taken to the Apple Store for the video card replacement once we get back, and hopefully it won't take a long time.

Until then, I've got my Cintiq, a netbook, and an elderly ipad to use because we are technogeeks.

Oh no, sympathies! I'm glad you do have backup electronics, but I hope you can get the video card replaced quickly.

Thanks. I realized a couple of hours ago that I've got to figure out how to delete stuff from my ipad and iphone so I can download TV shows and movies for the trip, but I have set Toby to that problem now.

Argh.
