Dear people posting your amateur attempts at travel documentary videos on YouTube,

Perhaps you'd get a lot more views if you actually had more video of the beautiful location you're in instead of video of yourself talking about the beautiful place you're in.

Especially do not put up lots of video of your feet walking on a road or staircase or whatnot. Nobody fucking cares.

(Note: I'm not referring to people posting their vacation travel videos.I don't care what choices you make for that. I'm talking about people attempting to monetize their channels by posting travel videos about the places they're visiting, a la travel shows on TV.)

I feel your pain. I get a similar feeling watching people "review" games but then spend 16 minutes talking about why they wanted to make the video and not showing me the game at all. Learn to edit!

Oh lord yes. And all the ten minute video walkthroughs of specific video game issues that involve eight minutes of babble asking people to subscribe to the channel and giving shoutouts to Patreon supporters, and two minutes of actual walkthrough on how to get the thing. I just want to know where to find the magic doodad!

I'd blocked those (many) 8 minutes of babble from my mind but now I'm having flashbacks. Terrible, boring flashbacks! The trauma incurred for magic doodads.

As an apology for forcing you to endure those flashbacks, have a video of traditional Italian knife fighting techniques I ran across yesterday while doing research for a project. The moves are all at 1/2 speed or so, so you can see them, but the surprising (for me) bit occurs right around 3:30. XD
