Ah, too good to last. The headache's back with reinforcements. *burrows in bag for drugs*

I feel your pain. Migraine or regular annoyance?

I declared it a migraine due to my head hurting since Sunday, and took the migraine pill and it banished my headache, so - migraine. At least according to the doctor who gave me Relpax for the first time and told me that if the migraine drugs worked it was a migraine and if they didn't it was probably either a cluster headache or a tension headache. XD

My doctor prescribed Imigran, but I never use it, because it says 'take as directed' and he directed me to take it as soon as I feel an 'aura' (otherwise it won't work). Aura? Would that bw when I get chocolate cravings the day before, when my jaw starts to feel really hot, or when half my head feels like it has exploded? And why is it called an 'aura'? I have yet to see the light.

I'm under the impression that they call any symptoms that precede the migraine the aura, but since I don't get ones that have anything like that, it's not something I know much about. I just get the ones that I can't tell from a bad headache, and the only way I can see which it is, is to take over-the-counter drugs and see if they work. If not, migraine. So that means I get to suffer a couple hours from the headache before I can take the drugs. *sigh*

I'm going to see if we have any over-the-counter ones here. I find that turning off all the lights helps a lot.
