Heh. I've just started going back into Skyrim with a new character, and I am now convinced that the developers know about the little bugs but have decided to leave them in because they're just so entertaining, see the Jarl sprawling in mid-air...
I'm still fumbling my way through this. How important is the main storyline, for instance? I've just done the first bits in Whiterun, got my reward, and was promptly told I urgently needed to go and see the next guys - what I'd like to do is go back and collect some ore and level up my smithing skills and do a side quest given in Riverwood, and just explore a little.
(Have not built a house. Have not worked out how that whole settling down thing works. Also have not worked out how companions work, people just seem to avoid me? I get a bit of small talk, and that's it.)
