If you can't see a picture here of 5 shrunk-down webpage designs, well, it's LJ's fault. Click to embiggen them slightly. Pick one. Don't think too much about it; I just want your first preference.
[Poll #1813981]
(Reason: I need to code up a few sample designs for work, and this is one of them. I'm going to pick one of them to put into code, but am too close and overthinking and can't think which one to do.)

They don't really embiggen very much, do they?
I find myself in the untenable position of wanting both the blue box (which looks like a menu to me) and the chunk of text that seems to be a main article wrapped around a wee graphic both to be vertical/portrait, which will not work with the pieces as given. So I picked one of the choices in which at least one of them was.
(ETA: ... which was all of them. Time to go home now, cho ... )

Yup, I wanted to keep them kinda small so people's gut responses would be based on the overall placement of larger elements and not be sidetracked by the text, something I found out was a problem in the last site overhaul I did.
I'll admit that the blue box isn't a real menu, but a list of featured collections. The nav is along the top, and you'll be able to go to a page that has all of the collections on it. I kept the Featured Collections from the old design, as the staff seem to like it on the home page, but I'm treating it more like a banner ad than relevant page content.
