The prompt asked for "...desk sex, getting constantly interrupted (like with the unnamed soldier that has been named Jim in some fanfics)..."

If you're unfamiliar with DA:I, if you follow the Cullen romance route, the first kiss gets interrupted by an unnamed soldier. There is also desk sex later which isn't interrupted unless you experience the glitch that has a parade of soldiers wandering through the room during events. XD

I have already expressed my appreciation of the wolfy picture, but I also like the expressiveness of the pose in the second pic! I especially like the use of brushstrokes to mark out the lighting. (Uh, sorry for my suck art vocab.)

I am not in a position to make promises right now, but what can you tell me about the legionary?

I hadn't thought too deeply about her, but as she's wearing a wolfskin that means she's a standard bearer, which is usually a position held by 20-year veterans from what I understand. I gather she would be carrying a banner or signifer, marking a century or cohort within the legion, instead of the legion's eagle, which would be carried by someone with a lion skin.

As the standard bearer she would be the point at which the unit would rally in battle, and would stay near the leader, and she'd also be a huge target because capturing an enemy's standard meant a loss of face for them, as it represented the unit's honor and may have been in charge of the pensions (Reddit link, but it's AskHistorians which has a higher standard for its replies).

So if that's true to form, she's actually the unit's accountant. XD But that mean's she's literate and an officer.

Heh. I think I'd envisioned something a bit more fierce when I was drawing her, but if it goes fantasy, all that can be handwaved. Or it could be really nifty!

Thanks for the historical pointers! I didn't know if you had any headcanon background or personality in mind. [edit] Fierce counts.

Yeah, nothing concrete. I think I was maybe assuming Romano-British because I default to that, since my primary academic exposure to the Romans was from an Intro to British Archaeology course I took in Wales that spent half the time on Romans. But nothing concrete.

When I was doing the picture, I think I had it in my head that she was on top of a crag or hill, surveying the landscape, but I'm not sure what she was frowning at. :)
