and if you read the manga, you'll see there's actually a lot of mother issues on Gojyo's side, which is kinda disturbing.
But still not quite as disturbing as Hakkai's relationship with his sister! Or Gojyo's
brother's
relationship with their mother, for that matter.
Oh, Saiyuki, I love you so. You bring all the crazy fucked-up incestuous relationships to the yard!
