Have not even checked my email today due to illness and because I have many emails that need to be replied to and I can't face actually replying to them.
Watched movies on Netflix. Capsule reviews:
Nanny McPhee: trying too hard to be charming.
Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day: actually charming.
Soulmate: creepy stalker ghost is creepy. And stalkery.

Charming is a good description, but the most powerful memories I have of it; haven't watched my DVD for some time, which I must correct, are of a woman, who lost someone close to her in the last war, and a man who lost his way because of what he went through in that war.
What is often missed is that the movie is set on the last day of peace before war is declared.
It's a powerful, misleadingly light-hearted movie. The kind of movie that should be up for Oscars more often.
