Dove at the window
So after a small discussion in the comments on DW yesterday about whether the dove was romancing the dove in the window or not, I printed and cut out a picture of the dove and taped it to the window to see what our visitor thinks of its rival for the window-dove's affections.
The dove has not yet shown up today, but it's early.

Cutout in position. (That birdbath was left here by the original owners and (a) IT'S METAL AND GETS TO 345353454 DEGREES IN THE SUMMER plus (b) IT HAS A HOLE IN THE BOTTOM so it's totally useless and we haven't gotten around to throwing it out yet.)
As I said above, there's no dove yet, but Sora jumped up onto the sill at 7:36 and again at 7:51 to investigate.
THE WAIT CONTINUES
