It makes me understand why I kept assuming that I'd be done in a couple of hours, and I assumed that from Friday through Saturday and most of Sunday--all the real work is in the details. (and I also managed to figure out why I was having trouble with her shoulders...)
Thank you! I will give a good deal of credit for the hair to Jonas De Ro's brushes, which include a hair and a strand brush.
She was going to have more hair, but I kept getting Elsa vibes, so removed the braid/twist that I'd planned. That's also why she is most definitely not wearing blue.
I'm another one who can't stop watching the time-lapse progress. I also want to steal her pendant even though I don't even wear jewellery!
I'm finding her eye amazingly freaky for some reason, but she's also got pointy ears so I guess she can be as inhuman as she wants to be (I'd never have guessed the reference person without the progress shot). Aside from my personal issues with the eye thing, I do love how smooth and even the skin tones are and the hair is great too. Makes me want to break out the old digital painting tutorial and a reference picture, but so lazy...
Thank you! :D I was trying to go a bit into the Uncanny Valley on her, but somehow lost the Tilda Swinton/Cate Blanchett bone structure that went along with the weirdly large eye. :) (Too much blending, I think!)
