You know what I'm finding a hard about painting a scene set on a comet? The fact that our normal cues for distance--color, focus, haze, etc.--are based on ATMOSPHERE.

Still going to cheat and use a bit of all that to give that unconscious sense of distance, but not so much it'll be too obvious. Hopefully.

Well . . . the spaceship would have kicked up a lot of dust and snow while landing/docking. So there'd bit a little haze.
