Don't think this is the one from yesterday, given how scruffy yesterday's was. This one might be the mother of yesterday's, in which case this is probably Hera.
I had a near face-to-face encounter with a male on our street. He was zooming in for a landing on one of our little redbud street trees (planted last year and still not terribly large) and apparently had not noticed me approaching along the sidewalk. He more or less froze in mid-air, looking horrified, and then managed to recover and swoop away back the way he had come.
