Two new feeder visitors!
One we've seen before, one we haven't. As far as we can tell, the little birds on the windowsill don't trip the motion sensor in the camera, but larger ones do. The cardinals appear to be too small to trip it, alas, so it's mostly captured mourning doves and white-winged doves, but here are two new faces...

Bluejay! We've seen the jay before. It flies to the big feeder, grabs seed, then flies to the fence to eat it, usually.
And here's the new one at the feeder at all...

Mockingbird! I'm surprised we haven't seen one before, really. They're all over the neighborhood.
And, yes, the window is filthy. The storms last night blew a bunch of crap against it. I have plans to go clean it once the major storms are past, so it might be a few days.

I looked like a dork today when a scarlet tanager flirted around outside while the family was having its Mother's Day get-together.
"LOOK, LOOK, IT LOOKS LIKE A CARDINAL, BUT IT ISN'T. ISN"T THAT AMAZING???"
"That's nice"
"THEY EAT BUGS"
