Crossposted from Glamorous in Retrospect. Author: Stephanie.Taken in 2007, during my previous trip. A path made of torii gates at the Fushimi Inari-taisha in Kyoto. This is the main shrine in Japan dedicated to Inari, the rice god. It contains many paths like this one winding up several hills. You can wander them for hours.
We’re packing up and counting down to our trip…it’s almost a matter of hours now! If you’d like a notification when this blog is updated, you can follow our blog entries on any or all of these services as you wish, as I’ve got the crossposts from hell set up:
RSS feed Email (sign up form in this blog’s sidebar–Note: you may need to sign up twice to get it to take. If you haven’t gotten a confirmation in your email, it hasn’t worked.) Special note for Tumblr users: I am telophase14 on Tumblr, as I didn’t reserve “telophase” in time to get it! (Although I see that telophase on Tumblr likes Korra. I approve.)
