Hah! Those of you on my Africa Letters filter* may recall this letter, wherein my mom says that one of our fellow researchers, Dr. John Bindernagel, is going home to Canada, then he and his wife are going to British Columbia to look for Sasquatch.
On the Travel Channel right now there's a show called "On the Trail of Bigfoot" and one of the people they interviewed was ... Dr. John Bindernagel! Who apparently hasn't found Sasquatch yet, but hasn't given up hope.
* We lived in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania for two years while Dad was doing research for his PhD, and Mom wrote a bunch of letters home. One of my projects is to type them in, and whenever I type a few in, I post them here under filter. Comment if you want to be on it.

My brother's friends went somewhere up North for a camping trip and claimed to have "seen Sasquatch." And they even got it on film! But in reality, it was just one of them in an Ape suit running around while the ones in on the prank filmed. Apparently, some of them still buy the story, though, which I can't believe since its very obvious its a person in an Ape suit. They even all know that one of the guys had an ape suit, so...whatever. Not the smartest bunch, I suppose.

Bigfoot is actually the result of alien genetic experiments in which they crossed the Loch Ness Monster with Elvis. (The aliens liked Elvis's music so much that they refused to return him after the abduction--thus they had to fake his death.)
I saw it in the Weekly World News, so you KNOW it must be true!
