Toby and I went to a weekend-long LAN/boardgaming/hangout party friends of ours threw over in Dallas. A lot of games were played. And everyone got into the spirit...



This is Lincoln, one of our hosts' three cats, taking a rest on a handy stack of games.

I didn't get a photo of Rebel, the other cat who joined in, because I never had an appropriate device with which to take photos on me at the time, but he is also an enormous cat (I think both those boys are at least part Maine Coon), who is also rotund, and he had a habit of sitting down on the floor and grooming his belly by sticking both his hind feet up in the air and balancing on his butt with his tail out in front of him such that he reminded me of nothing so much as a Weeble.

The third cat, Dixie, is a much more gracile, reserved lady and she spent the entire time, except when she slunk out to the litterbox, in the office of one of our hosts, out of most of the fray (she gets fed in a closet there, which has a door with an RFID tag, so the boys won't eat her food).
