(no subject)

You know this cold? At the moment, not so much with the coughing and runny nose, and much more with the exhaustion. I slept fom 11 until 7, got up and emailed work that I wasn't coming in and pottered around reading email and LJ for an hour, then went back to bed and woke up at 1. And am still sleepy and exhausted, and would go back to bed except that I know my body needs food and liquid like a needy thing.

And now comes the headache. DRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGS.

ETA: And my mom's not home so I can only phone up and whine at her answering machine and not her. How dare she have a life! I think yesterday she said she was going to be doing something for her Habitat for Humanity volunteer job, actually. Or she's volunteering at the library, or doing something for the local weaving guild. It's a wonder she's ever home at all. XD

I just woke up and it's 3pm. What the hell, this cold-thing.

I think [livejournal.com profile] ursulav has the same thing - her husband brought the Plague home from work, and infected her, and it seems to be much the same symptoms.

It's probably all coming in from Louisiana. I hate to imagine them being sick on top of everything else, though.

No telling. [livejournal.com profile] ursulav's out in West Virginia, I think, and AnimeFest certainly brought in people from all over the US and Japan, not to mention the FEMA guys from CA, NV, and WA, so it became a major bacterial breeding ground.

 Yeah, I was thinking it might be related to all the FEMA people.

It could be anyone - I almost always get hit after a con. I think the FEMA people were waiting to be deployed - I don't think we had any who'd been to NOLA yet. Which isn't to say that it didn't come from them. But the guy who accidentally sneezed on me in the lobby was a congoer, and I'm still assuming it was him that infected me. :)
