DID YOU KNOW?? Western Australia is but one of the eight states/territories of Australia, but it covers a third of the entire country. WOOO!! Random dumb fact. It's mostly desert too, but features unique western-coast flora which are becoming popular in the manufacture of essential oils and perfumes.

And their state animal is the black swan. What's up with that? They could have picked something cool like the spiny camel-funnelweb spider with flesh-dissolving venom, or the drop bear. But nooo, that's them westies for you.
