Here in Austin, HEB was of course The Land Of No Bread Or Milk.

Of course! Because we're going to be snowed in for a whole week!

We reluctantly cancelled our crown roast of pork order for the weekend, because the RPG scheduled to be at our house was called due to the weather, and we bought a loaf of bread because our old one had green spots on it, but between the deep freeze and the pantry, we could eat quite well for quite some time, as long as we didn't mind not having fresh vegetables after a couple of days. But that's about as far as we went.

On a baking note, I am going to attempt rugelach! They seem a bit like a kolache rolled into a crescent, so we'll see...
