I'm sort of hoping for a snow day* tomorrow because I've got a pantry full of baking ingredients that need to be used. And I'm signed up for the Metafilter Cookie Exchange so I'll have three people to send cookies to.


* Make that "ice day" as it's North Texas and we tend to get ice storms instead of snow shutting down workplaces.

I have a meetup tomorrow, and I promised to bring cookies.

I baked cookies today.

I actually DID BAKE COOKIES. There are far fewer than I'd hoped to get, and I've already eaten some, so I think I shall have to repeat the exercise before Christmas, but I went through with it, and they worked out fine. I haven't done this in about a decade, so go me.

Awesome! :D I don't bake as much as I want because it's just me and Toby here and if I bake, we eat it all. I should maybe start bringing things in to work.
