One thing I have learned from reading Tim & Lorenzo's fashion-bitchery blog is the importance of proportion. So when I saw this thing from SWAK Design in the Ads folder in my inbox just now, I could point out why it made me cringe. Well, in addition to the butt-ugly pants:

See, that's a gorgeous model, and I"ve seen her on other sites, so I know she's got a beautiful hourglass figure, and it's all completely hidden under that shapeless mess of an outfit, which makes her look like a short, squat, shower curtain. It doesn't have to be a short, tight top, but something a little bit shorter and with less fabric would show off the shape of the pants and flatter her a lot more. RIght now, it just says "I'M HIDING! :D"
Now...I will say that I and a lot of women would probably WEAR an outfit like that because it looks comfy, but if you're trying to SELL those pieces, it's not working. I want to see the woman in the clothing looking confident, not like she's ashamed of her size and is trying to hide it.
EVEN A BELT WOULD HELP. It w0uld at leasr define a waist, because right now she looks like she's all upper torso and legs and her midsection went missing somewhere.

There's also an unfortunate effect due to the shirt stopping exactly where it is, so that the curve of the stripes around her leg makes it look like lines pointing to her crotch. A little bit shorter, and that wouldn't happen, I think.
