I love how, when people say "Princess Batman," "Princess Hulk," "Princess Wolverine," etc, we actually do picture a teeny cute girl in an outfit based on a male superhero's costume, but with some combination of sparkles, a skirt, a tiara and pink thrown in. But "Princess Deadpool" makes us actually think of Wade Wilson in a giant pink princess dress.
There were multiple Deadpools at A-Kon this year, including at least one Sailor Deadpool as well as a few other iterations, and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WAS IN CHARACTER. You just can't look at pretty much any iteration of a Deadpool cosplay and go "...That's just not right," because that's exactly what the character would WANT you to think.
