What is this? Yes! It's telophase desperately needing originals for the AnimeFest art show and thus plundering her backlist for lineart to turn into pencil renderings!







Pencil on charcoal paper, white watercolor pencil for the highlights, and drops of white opaque ink for the eyes.

Thank you! The white was an experiment, since the highlights weren't showing up well on the darker paper, and it seems to have turned out quite well.

That should get you something, for nostalgia's sake if nothing else! =D
The white highlights worked very well! When I used to do the majority of my inking by hand, I had a couple pots of different consistency waterproof Speedball black and a Dr.Shultz (I think?) white ink which later I switched up for gesso. Trick was to apply it thin enough that you wouldn't get any shadow artifacting when you went to copy your pages! XD
