We used to get something like that in the basement before it was finished, but we called them "Jerusalem crickets".

Apparently they're called "sprickets," too.

We used to get them in the basement all the time, but I haven't seen a single one since we remodeled. (The basement was finished before, but now it's finished with different material.)
