BPAL review: Hellfire
Hellfire
BPAL description: This comes from the Sin & Salvation collection. A scent celebrating Sir Francis Dashwood's Order of the Knights of St. Francis of Wycombe, also known as the Hellfire Club. A swirl of pipe tobacco, hot leather, ambergris, dark musk and the lingering incense smoke from their Black Mass.
In vial: There's a smell right at first that I really like, then it's overpowered by the musk. I shall test it in a very small spot, remembering what happened with Spellbound.
Wet: Wow. I'm actually getting a sort of minty thing from this. It smells like Girl Scout Thin Mints and nothing at all like what it was in the imp.
Dry: The musk starts to come out and make my head hurt and smell icky on me, so I'm rushing to wash it off ASAP before it stays forever.

This absolutely proves it: NO DARK MUSK FOR TELOPHASE. (Light musks don't seem to be too bad in other things as long as they don't predominate, but the presence of the red, black, and dark musks are an automatic NO WAY IN HELL for me now.)
I eventually managed to get it off after remembering the old food-service trick that I learned from my time in

I tried the dish soap. It doesn't work on myrrh, although it helps with other stuff. *sits down and weeps*
