BPAL review: Kathmandu
Kathmandu
BPAL description: This comes from the Wanderlust collection. The scent of sacred incense swirling up the steep slopes to Swayambhunath Stupa. Saffron, blessed sandalwood, Himalayan cedar and the miraculous lotus of the Buddha with chiuri bark and Nepalese spices.
In vial: Cedar and sandalwood, with some other spices, maybe a touch of floral (lotus?)
Wet: Sandalwood, with a faint minty touch
Dry: Getting a warm scent to it now - can't quite place it.
Notes: Cat keeps turning her head - you'd almost think she didn't want me shoving a wrist in her face. Nice sandalwoody scent moderated with something low and warm, but undfortunately the cedar is doing a number on me and made me sneeze. That downgrades it from "Nice but I'm not going to buy a bottle" to "Sorry, nope." It wouldn't have been a perfume scent anyway, but if I were into room scents or making pomaders for the closet, I might have used it.
