There is a FLY in my OFFICE and it is DRIVING me NUTS.

ETA: The FLY has been SLAIN with a handy PAPER TOWEL TUBE used as a FLYSWATTER. (and there was enough red splatter to make me think that it was the sort of fly that drinks blood...)

You can get reddish pink gut content from a number of sources besides blood, such as dark pollen, artificially colored liquids, and bacterial infection.
