BPAL review: Eve

Eve
BPAL description: From the Excolo collection. The spirit of temptation, the essence of lost innocence. Apple blossom, rose, ylang ylang and golden honey.

In vial: Light floral. I can pick out the rose, but it's not overwhelming.

Wet: The rose comes out to play, along with a harsh sort of green note.

Dry: Primarily soft rose and that green note (ylang ylang? apple blossom?). Nothing to write home about, but it seems to have more throw than a lot of the softer, warmer scents on me. Blends and gets a bit warmer over time; guess that's the honey coming out.

Notes: Cat didn't much care one way or the other. Once it settles down, it's nice but not quite me. I think the honey works on me (yet another food smell WHO'D HAVE THOUGHT?). I think something with more honey would be me - the warmer, richer scents are what I like. Neo-Tokyo's been the only real floral that has struck me as something I like. Doesn't seem to affect my allergies any.

Apple blossom, rose, ylang ylang and golden honey.

Ooo. That one sounds nice.

The longer it dried, the nicer it got - I definitely need to look for scents with honey. The top notes were too floral for me, but I sort of expected that. :)
