Before I forget...

Suggestions for two subjects that would make for an amusing rivalry for a charity drive contest? That are not vampires, ninjas, pirates, or zombies? Bonus points if they're 1950s/1960s pulp-SF related.

(We're (ConDFW) thinking of doing a silly contest where you vote for one or the other by donating to an appropriate Giving Page on donorschoose.org, and getting various of our panelists to write an impassioned screed for/against one or the other. We'd announce the winner, and how many kids were helped, at the con.)

Hmmm. I wonder if Team Human vs. Team Martian would work?

Catgirls vs Fishmen
Robots vs Martians
Rockets vs Flying Saucers (another variant of Human vs Martian, I guess)

There needs to be a girl with a laser gun. I feel this very strongly. You could do "Laser gun" vs. "Magic sword" to have a humorous take on the sci-fi vs. fantasy camps.

Yeah, we did magic vs. science at our cosplay human chess match one year. Good times. I can't think of any other themes that we did that would be relevant here.

Awesome, thanks!

Oh, I like Aliens and G-Men. (As long as at least one of the G-Men is a G-Lady.)

Aliens vs. robots, the ultimate 1950s/60s pulp-SF cagematch.

That's right! Thanks!
